Seeking Technology Based Technician (New Windsor, NY) New Windsor

A growing Communications Technology firm in the Hudson Valley seeks a motivated, energetic, and logical technician to provide support to client converged IP Telephony, Unified Communications, and IT networks. This position is Monday -- Friday 8am-5pm but must be flexible after hours.

Job Duties:
•Performing service, adds, moves & changes remotely
•Software and LAN/WAN support
•Providing updates, and reporting adds/changes/deletions to dispatcher for customer database
•IT applications include TCP/IP Networking, Windows Environment {including Windows XP/7/8 & 2003 Server & above, Active Directory, Exchange}
•Switching, Routing, packet capture, VPN and VLANS
•Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain systems

Job Requirements:
•Qualified/technically adept, and have knowledge, as well as training & experience, with IT, and telephony systems
•A+ Certification
•Experience with PBX/ VoIP
•Software proficiency with Apple iOS, Android OS, Microsoft Office Suite, RDP,
•Windows Workstation Operating Systems and Windows Server Operating Systems is extremely beneficial
•Methodical troubleshooting techniques for complex systems
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
•Applicant should have the ability to listen carefully to others, and ask questions to gain, or clarify understanding
•Provide exemplary Customer Service skills

Training on primary systems will be provided. The successful candidate will work with the clients both remotely from the company's office and at the many customers' work sites throughout the Hudson Valley. Mileage will be paid for travel.
