WHAT IS MATE?
We are an organization that believes two things at the core - first is that the workforce is changing and if we as workers do not change with it we are going to be left in the cold, disenfranchised, and without a longterm plan.

Second is that there is a better process for engaging the clients that we are supporting by co-working and co-creating with them to create digital products that have value.
these things take a special kind of person who is willing to work to obtain a set of skills and tools that are necessary to create productive conversations around problems and finding successful solutions.

We have defined this as an 'entrepreneurial developer' - and to some extent most of us are 75% there - we just need some skills, the courage to rise above and the integrity to see things through correctly.

MATE is addressing these two things by serving as an organization that is working to empower developers with the tools, skills and foundation that it takes to be an entrepreneurial developer and then embedding those people in projects that they are passionate about in positions that they able to grow in.

We are in soft launch now and are currently offering many perks while we ramp up to offer more:

Mentorship - a bi-weekly call with your 'personal board' to discuss issues that you are having and possible solutions.
[internal] a lot around how the landmark works in tallking about removing stories and getting to facts and empowering them to understand that tomorrow they are a different pperson and not the same person they think they are today.
