Help middle school students in the Bronx to discover and achieve their dreams as a member of AmeriCorps!

As an AmeriCorps National Teaching Fellow, serving in a local public middle school, you will mentor students, deliver classroom instruction and promote community outreach in ways that reimagine the school day. In recognition of your passion and service to the community you will receive a stipend to cover basic expenses and $5,645 at the completion of each year of service to use to pay for college or graduate school.

Qualifications:

Its your passion for creating opportunity for every child that will best position you to serve. You are dedicating yourself to working on one of our nation's greatest challenges, so it takes grit, tenacity, creativity and strong communication skills.

Additionally, a college degree OR at least 5 college level courses and 2-3 years of experience will help to position you well to serve with excellence.
