Seeking NY Philharmonic Telefundraisers - (Upper West Side, NYC) New York City

The Job:
This is a year-round Telefundraising job, raising donations for the New York Philharmonic.

We work in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center

The Perks:
This is a year-round job (NOT Seasonal)
Those callers meeting their goals may go to up to two concerts per month (with a guest)
Listen to the LIVE Philharmonic performances as they happen upstairs!
Advancement from within -- DCM usually hires Campaign Assistants and Campaign Managers from within.
You know you are doing something good for the world!

The Hours:
Minimum 20 hours a week

The Shift Times:
Monday - Thursday always 5:00 - 9:00
Friday - usually a day shift 10:00 - 2:00 sometimes 1:00 - 5:00
Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

We usually try to add in either one or two more day shifts
These day shifts are usually 12:15 - 4:15 though sometimes we make it 10:45 - 2:45
These do not always happen so there is no availability for people who can ONLY do day shifts.

The Schedule:
Flexible...as long as you have your 5 shifts and have some flexibility in choices.
You may choose to a double one day so you only work 4 days a week.
Once you are past probation period and meeting all production standards it is possible to do a set schedule that usually does not change.
Once you are meeting all of your goals, you may also work up to 28 hours.

The Pay:
Hourly plus commission. Top Callers usually are somewhere between $15-$25+ per hour every week.

You are, of course, trained and have a script to use as a guideline.
You must be able to speak well, be open to being coached, and be able to use a computer and fill out gifts correctly.

EXPERIENCE:
People with Telemarketing / Telefundraising experience are preferred, but not required for the right person.

ORIENTATION: Saturday, June 27th 11:45 am

Held at Avery Fisher Hall Lincoln Center (see map above)

At this time we will go over all aspects of the campaign -- and those we think are a good fit and who think they would like to do it will be placed in the training classes as well as shifts for the rest of the week.

THOSE HIRED MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THESE TRAINING SHIFTS
Monday 06.29 9:45 am - 2:45 pm
Tuesday 06.30 10:45 am - 2:45 pm

The rest of the week is more open.
Since it is a training week, callers may work up to 2 more shifts besides the training shifts (24 hours) if there is room. And of course, there will be more flexibility the following week.
