OTG Management operates restaurants and gourmet markets partnered with some of the best chefs in NYC. Our retail stores offer cutting edge entertainment technology in addition to apparel by some of the city's hottest designers. We are currently searching for a high energy, dynamic, and personable person for a full-time Badging Coordinator for our Office.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Badging Coordinator performs general and confidential office work related to administrative and human resource activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Schedules all private JFK Security classes for all newly hired crewmembers and managers for JFK.
 Provides oral and written instruction to newly-hired crewmembers and managers regarding SIDA and fingerprinting process, including personal identification requirements.
 Communicates clearly for each newly hired crewmember or manager the steps required on the Port Authority fingerprinting application.
 Travels to the Port Authority Administration Building as Issuing Officer related duties require.
 Records and maintains accurate badge data for the Port Authority quarterly audits.
 Ensures that all OTG issued security badges are returned to the Port Authority at the point a crewmember and Manager resigns or is involuntarily terminated.
 Responds to all Port Authority notifications regarding (BOR) Breach of Rules/Violation for OTG crewmembers and Managers.
 Acts as a liaison between OTG Management and the Port Authority stakeholders regarding security related policies and procedures.
 Tracks and communicates the progression of newly hired crewmembers and Managers through the badging process and reporting their status to the JFK Management team on a continuous and regular basis.
 Communicates "badge ready" notifications to all Managers and TLs, and preparing "badge ready" letters.
 Notifies HR of issues and expiration dates of all new badges to ensure tracking data in HRB.
 Responsible for successfully conducting New Hourly Recruitment Events
 Responsible for the on-boarding of new employees by creating new hire packets, scheduling orientation meetings, and creating new employee files.
 Leading assigned training sessions for JFK.
 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 Previous badging experience is preferred


QUALIFICATIONS:

 Strong written and oral communication skills
 Extremely detail-oriented
 3-4 year experience in administrative duties
 The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
 Sound decision-making skills
 The ability to plan and prioritize
 Follow-up and tracking skills
 Computer literacy with excel
 Internal and external customer services skills
 An exemplary team player
