Human Resources Project Associate Needed - (Midtown East, NYC) New York City
- Location: Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States
The HR Project Associate will work on various projects alongside other members of the Human Resources team here in the US as well as the HR International team. Projects you will encounter will vary from Performance Reviews, Employee Surveys, Compliance, Turnover Reporting as well as various Trainings.
Description:
• Assist with the planning, roll out and coordination of companywide performance reviews
• Help construct and execute employee surveys per department/division requirements
• Support Canada and California employment compliance
• Provide assistance for turnover analysis and reporting with the ability to breakdown the data per division, team, etc as requested
• Help develop, organize, conduct and evaluate training programs
• Assist with the creation and execution of companywide notifications in addition to employee inquires as needed
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services performed
• Assist with employee exit interviews ensuring all information is recorded accurately, remains confidential and provide feedback to the appropriate Senior Management
• Aid with internal company website updates
• Help with the creation and review for internal job descriptions, offer templates and various HR documents
• Maintain flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as needed
• Perform other special projects or duties when required.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Human Resources concentration
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration/management
• Familiarity with employment law
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations, especially when handling employee issues
• Positive attitude and team orientation
• Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
• Attention to detail is crucial, problem-solving competencies are vital, sense of humor a must
• Knowledge or experience working with a Human Resources Information System
Desired Skills:
• 1-3 years of direct Human Resources experience
• Knowledge of HRIS Software (ADP)
• Experience with iCIMS
