Salam & Giacalone Architects is an established small architectural firm, with diverse projects and a solid reputation. We employ an eclectic design approach and specialize in public buildings and educational facilities. We are looking to expand our staffing by hiring talented individuals who have the potential and ambition for growth towards positions in office leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design and production of multiple projects at all design and project administration phases.
• Communicate effectively with in-house staff, consultants and clients.
• Be able to represent the firm at project meetings.
Candidates must:
• Have 5 plus years USA professional experience.
• Be interested in playing a major role in our office and taking on responsibilities.
• Be highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Have knowledge of NYC codes and zoning.
• Be Autocad proficient and computer literate.
• 3D skills and Revit capability a definite plus.
• Possess exemplary verbal and writing skills.
• Have working experience in design, detailing and construction administration.
Within our congenial office environment, you will get involved with multiple projects, and have exposure to different phases of work, including design, construction documents and job administration.
