Technical Account (Relationship) Manager Position To Fill (TriBeCa, NYC) New York City

About the Position

The primary responsibility of the Relationship Manager is customer satisfaction. The position serves as the customer's primary point of contact and the internal advocate for the customer. The position handles technical project management and serves as a point of escalation for the customer. The relationship managers work closely with the support team leaders to deliver results. The position requires expertise in small business IT needs and strong customer service skills. The Relationship Manager reports to the VP Managed Service and COO.



Responsibilities

Working with the customer to define their IT priorities and budgets
Scoping and Managing complex IT projects (with management and support)
Understanding daily support needs at a high level and ensuring that they are met
Managing the initial on-boarding of the customer to the Sinu platform
Maintaining and reporting customer conformity to the platform
Defining the scope of Sinu IT Service with the customer
Understanding and documenting longer term project objectives and ensuring that they are met
Delivering direct technical support when required to assist team or meet these objectives
Providing the customer with regular reporting
Documenting all knowledge of customer systems
Providing after hours support from time to time as required by Dispatch or customer need


Requirements

BA and 5+ years' experience as a small business IT project or account manager
Have previously setup, moved, upgraded and replaced entire corporate IT infrastructures
Experience guiding IT teams toward the successful completion of projects
Experience with corporate infrastructures of 10-250 employees and multiple locations
Strong experience with corporate Active Directory, business printing solutions, backup systems, VPN solutions and the implementation and access to client-server apps
Understanding of cloud infrastructures, VPNs, APIs and SaaS web-based control panels
Experience at a Managed Service Provider a plus
The more of these Technologies you know, the better: LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, NAT, PPTP, IPSec, RSync, AD Roles, ActiveSync, Kaseya, LogMeIn, Autotask, Mozy, GAPPS, Intermedia, Trend Micro

You must be hardworking, easygoing, able to articulate concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, and derive energy from people -- clients and employees alike. You should possess a strong desire to build a scalable company, not an IT practice.



This position is based in New York City.

Salary $70,000 base plus performance bonus, typically $10,000
