Seeks IT Intern

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Information Technology (IT) Internship

The person who will be successful at this position will demonstrate an unparalleled commitment to teamwork and accomplishment. This position is expected to grow in the critical areas that make up the IT domain, technical aptitude and service excellence.

This position will help investigate and resolves software and hardware problems for computer end users. This will involve the resolution of user problems ranging from logon problems to peripheral equipment such as printers and PDA support as-well as POS system maintenance/support. Assistance will be mostly over the telephone with some on-site support required.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be currently enrolled in or just graduated a technical school, college or University in IT.
Strong TCP/IP Networking Skills and network services
Switching/routing technologies
Desktop Support skills in a Windows Environment & Mac OS
Ability to follow directions/procedures Knowledge in Windows Desktop & Server Operating Systems
Active Directory Administration Skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software
Assist in installation of workstations, faxes and printers
Support end users and customer networks.
Ability to multitask, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives.
Knowledge of TCP, WAN, LAN, VPN
Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs when needed
