The Candidate:

Diligent Board Member Services IT Operations team is looking for a mid to senior-level Network Engineer to join its Infrastructure group. The Infrastructure group is a team of engineers in charge of OS platform and infrastructure supporting technologies. Primary responsibilities include administration, optimization, and automation of network environments. Other duties include support escalation, on-call rotation participation and occasional domestic and international travel for data center work (rack & stack).

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, or IT related field preferred
• 5+ years of networking experience with focus in routing, networking security, wireless.
• Extensive experience in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (BGP, OSPF, Site to Site IPSec, SSL)
• Experience with configuration and administration of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent routers and switches.
• Understanding of firewalls and concepts -- ACL's, NAT, IPSEC, and SSL.
• High level understanding of Load Balancers and load balancing algorithms (i.e. IP hashing)
• Experience with VoIP & VC infrastructure concepts and configurations (SIP, QoS, etc. . .)
• Experience managing and troubleshooting wireless networks and security.
• Experience with virtual network troubleshooting, VLAN trunking, and configuration of virtual network appliances.
• High level understanding of DNS, DHCP, PXE, and other commonly used protocols. Experience setting up network syslog and monitoring.
• Be able to understand and configure monitoring services similar to Solarwinds and Whatsupgold.
• Familiar with T1's, T3's, PRI's, Ethernet and analog circuits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNP or equivalent certification.
• Experience in configuring and managing F5 or other enterprise load balancers.
• Cisco Nexus design, configuration, administration experience.
• Multi-datacenter network design experience
• Network configuration management system experience
• Service provider network experience
• Cloud SaaS service troubleshooting experience
• 2+ years' experience with Windows systems and Infrastructure
