Our Info Sessions for the March Class will be held every Tuesday at 10AM SHARP!
Upcoming Session dates are: February 3rd, February 10th, February 17th, and February 24th at 10am.


Brooklyn Networks is a 6-week, intensive, hands-on cable training program that will help you start a career in the field of Network Cable Installation/Information Systems.

Cable Technicians install the lines that run behind walls and ceilings that are hooked up to computers, telephones, security systems, A/V Equipment and broadcast cable.

Please arrive early as we do not accept latecomers.

You do NOT need to call to pre-register to attend the information session.

Admission to this training program is free BUT competitive.

To qualify for the training you must:

1. Have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE (Please bring this with you to the info. session).*
2.. Be unemployed or underemployed.
3. Live in New York City.
4. Be 21 Years or older.
5. Be legally eligible to work in the US.
6. Be able to attend class Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm for 6 weeks.
7. Be able to pass a drug test and be physically fit/able to lift 70lbs.
8. Be able to pass a reading and math test at/or above the 8th grade level.
9. NOT be color blind.

*FOR ALL NON-DRIVERS:

All non-drivers are encouraged to first attend our driver's license training program orientation, New York Drives. New York Drives holds information sessions every Thursday at 2:00 PM, in our same location. You will be required after the New York Drives intake to attend a Brooklyn Networks information session.

HOW TO APPLY:

The first step is to attend the information session.
The session lasts about 3 hours. A reading and math test will be given.
The next steps in the application process will also be explained during the information session.


DIRECTIONS: Take the 2,3,4,5 to Atlantic Avenue/Barclay and transfer to the R train to Union Street in Brooklyn, walk two blocks toward the clock tower and make a left onto Degraw Street.
