Node.js Developer for Reaktor New York
Reaktor is a global technology studio that constructs exceptional digital services that deliver vivid, inspiring and lasting experiences. From high-end brand and concept design to hardcore software development, Reaktor's team of 300 best-in-class designers and developers work on "boss-level" projects for exciting clients like HBO, Michael Kors, Nasdaq, Panasonic, Samsung, SuperCell and Finnair.
We are coding champions, digital & mobile innovators and Internet of Things experts, crafting one-of-a-kind custom services for the digital media, retail, travel & airline, mobile, and banking industries. We believe that first-class quality can only be achieved by tying design and production tightly together.
We expect that you're a Javascript wizard who aspires to create the most beautiful isomorphic and responsive apps using React, Flux, RxJS or similar technologies. You know the best ways to avoid spaghetti and appreciate programming as a craft.
One of the best things about Reaktor is the high autonomy and freedom our people get. We never ship our employees off to some random project as "resources". We don't consider our employees as resources -- we consider them as experts. At Reaktor, you are a member of a close community of professionals taking on meaningful projects and deciding on the best tools for each job. You get to affect how, where and when you work.
Although we take our work very seriously we don't take ourselves too seriously. The DNA of Reaktor is very different -- we don't believe in bureaucracy or hierarchy. Instead, we like to invest our time in something more meaningful, like enjoying a nice craft beer together. That said, we also know how to appreciate vacation time.
If you think you might be the person we're looking for, go ahead and introduce yourself. Please tell us what you've been up to before and what you have your heart set on for the future. Details of any open source projects and your GitHub repository are preferred and appreciated.
