Seeking Front-end Application Developer: Remote OK - (Flatiron, NYC) New York City

We're looking for a team member with proven front-end web/hybrid web development skills, an eye for design, and the ability to create pixel-perfect apps. Position reports directly to application architect.

What we're looking for:
You need to love what you do, have opinions, and get excited about software
HTML5, Design, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS
Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, etc
You know, or are at least comfortable with NodeJS, Express, MongoDB
You are or consider yourself a designer (but are also able to implement your designs using CSS, etc)
Characteristics:
Familiar with or willing to learn the requirements of HIPAA and HITECH with regard to health data within software applications
Deep interest in healthcare and working to lower costs and raise health outcomes in the US
Mindful and regimented with regard to quality assurance's role in a project
Proactive in solving problems. Assesses existing code with a goal of trying to improve and optimize
Able to be self-driven and self-led
Able to switch between the mindset of "production code" for ongoing work and occasional "down and dirty" work on quick projects, such as a loose proof of concept prototype
