Jackson Avenue Family Residence Seeks Safety Monitor / Security Guard - (Bronx, NYC) New York City

The Jackson Avenue Family Residence is seeking to fill a "FULL-TIME" Safety Monitor position. The successful candidate must have: the New York State Security Guard Registration Card, and the Sixteen Hour On-The-Job Training Certificate. Possession of the Fire Department Certificates of Fitness, "F-80 Fire Safety And Alarm Systems (Homeless Shelter)", and "F-02 Fire Guard for Shelters (Citywide)" is a plus, as is bi-lingual Spanish/English language skills and possession of "First Aid / CPR" certifications. The candidate must have an motor vehicle operator's license with no more than three points of violation issued by the State of residence. The successful candidate must be available to work any shift during the 24 hour day, seven days a week, weekends and holidays. Prior experience in a homeless shelter environment is also a plus.
