Munchery is looking for a talented, highly organized individual for our purchasing team. The Purchasing Associate is a natural, hands-on leader that is able to keep pace with our phenomenal growth and grow with the company.

Responsibilities:
Sourcing and purchasing food and kitchen products on daily basis
Work with the culinary team to determine quality, quantities, timing and pricing for purchases
Work with vendors and distributors to procure quality product at the best price and availability to meet kitchen timeline
Use software to manage bids, orders, invoices and price tracking
Applying and tracking vendor accounts

Qualifications
Meticulous, detail-oriented, do it now, inclination is essential to this position
Proven ability to organize and maintain high volumes of data and/or paperwork
Ability to read menus and translate dishes to ingredients for ordering
Tech-savvy; must be proficient in Excel, experienced in using data entry-based programs
Experience with inventory management, monetary or financial responsibilities
Strong interest in food; restaurant experience a big plus
Ability to be, "hands on" and lead by example

Education
College degree required



RECEIVER

Munchery is seeking candidates to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a fast growing company helping people eat better.

Responsibilities
Employ efficient and sanitary procedures for receiving all products entering the building.
Confirm integrity all incoming product; check product quality, weight and temperature where appropriate
Verify product received against invoice and the original order
Bring products into building and distribute to appropriate walk-ins and storage

Qualifications
Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds.
Able to work in hot and cold environments
Work in a clean, detailed manner
Effective communication skills
Understand basic mathematical concepts
Able to work early mornings
