Account Manager Recruiter needed for B2B sales and recruitment

Position Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:
Develop initial relationships with employers within the Transportation, Manufacturing and Construction industry in order to generate job opportunities for jobseekers through cold calling, canvasing, warm leads, etc.
Provide hiring services to sector based companies in NYC by obtaining Job Orders in order to build a solid portfolio of business (these job orders should match up with Center strategy and jobseeker base)
Market New York City, and Center-based resources, services and jobseekers to potential employers and make appropriate referrals
Market job opportunities to jobseekers (in own Center and in other Centers or Community Organizations) by hosting on-sites and recruitment events for orientations and producing flyers, and advertisements, job postings, etc.
Work closely with Business Services Manager and Account Management team to develop strategic sales initiatives
Make 50+ calls per day utilizing call lists, internet research, etc, generating open job orders on a weekly basis to fulfill on
Meet performance expectations and prepare regular reports of results
Attend Industry networking events and Expos in addition to participating in Industry Associations to maximize exposure of branding and promote portfolio of business services to potential clients
Work closely with Career Advisors to assess types of jobs which are suitable for jobseeker base and target outreach to address needs
Develop focus on subsectors within Transportation, Manufacturing and Construction that are growing and in line with the qualifications of jobseekers
Pitch the full portfolio of NYC Business Solutions services including Recruitment services, Training Services, Financial and Legal Assistance, W/WBE Certifications, Incentives and Navigating Government

Relationship/Project Management:
Build employer relationships that:
- Are aligned with jobseeker base;
- Are aligned with Center strategies and priorities;
- Reflect the local labor market;
- Generate long-term, repeat business;
- Provide career ladder opportunities
Make follow-up calls to employers to determine level of satisfaction with job placement
Meet performance expectations set by Center Manager and the New York City Department of Small Business Services
Recruit interview, and screen candidates for open positions and make appropriate referrals to employers based on a 3:1 Referral to hire ratio

Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on jobseeker referral activities and outcomes weekly and monthly using in-house software, MS Excel, and an Oracle based Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
Perform other duties as assigned to assure achievement of Center goals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong networking ability highly desirable
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Results-oriented, and goal driven is a MUST for success in this position

Education:
Baccalaureate degree; preferably in Business Management, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or related field of study

Experience:
One (1) year of previous experience in one or more of the following areas: Job Development/Account Management, Human Resources Recruitment , Business to Business Sales
Transportation, Manufacturing or Construction Industry experience or expertise a plus

Skills:
Possess strong organizational and written/oral communications skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Comfortable with common office machines such as photocopier and fax
Bi-lingual (any language) a plus
Comfortable with facilitating presentations to individuals and/or small groups and public speaking as needed

Detail-oriented in communication and follow through
Work well in a fast-paced and performance-based environment
Possess a responsive communication style
