Seasonal HR Generalist Wanted (Brooklyn, NYC) New York City

We are currently seeking a detail and process oriented HR Generalist with strong benefits & payroll background. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, resourceful and have proven ability implementing new HR processes & procedures.

Responsibilities:

Benefits
* Works with broker to manage benefits
* Assists employees with questions or issues
* Organizes and presents benefit meetings, including open enrollment
* Manages and implements PTO, FMLA and time off requests
* Manages Worker's Comp insurance; files claims and accident reports
* Organizes and manages the company options calendar and spreadsheets

Payroll
* Calculate deductions for payroll, 401K, benefits and others as needed
* Update and manage payroll changes as required
* Audits payroll before final submission
* Backs-up payroll as necessary

Employee Relations
* Leads the onboarding process, including managing the transition from recruiting to HR
* Responds and follows-up on outstanding HR questions and queries from all employee levels
* Performs exit interviews and processes termination paperwork
* Maintain strong and open communications with every department and level of management
* Create, manage and update monthly and weekly reports for various departments
* Manage the entire reimbursement process from invoice to accounting

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a Senior Administrator or Generalist role
* Prior experience organizing and managing seasonal onboarding
* Previous experience with payroll and benefit processes
* Extreme attention to detail
* Prior experience with ADP WFN systems
* Proven experience successfully creating, implementing and onboarding new HR processes
