Operations/ Logistics Assistant Wanted - (Brooklyn, NYC) New York City

Objective: To assist in warehouse work flow management and SKU management by analyzing daily rate of sales and flow through of products.


Responsibilities:
-Assist night crew workers with product location management.
-Identify picking area efficiencies to streamline work flow.
-Assigning all items proper pick locations based on daily rate of sales.
-Assist Day Warehouse Supervisor in dispatch process.
-Work with Night Shift Supervisor in all end of shift administrative responsibilities.
-Assist Day Warehouse Supervisor in all beginning of day administrative responsibilities.
-Generate and manage replenishment reports for day shift load line loaders.
-Work closely with the Day Warehouse Supervisor on staffing to load the line.
-Serve as back up for day shift Operations Analyst when necessary.
-Serve as back up for night shift checkers when necessary.
-Attend operations meetings to keep informed of new policies and procedures.
-Perform other operations analysis.
-Cross-training in all administrative functions.
-Serve as backup to Operations Analyst, Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator as needed.
-Other responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree
-A willingness to assist throughout the warehouse as needed
-Excellent oral and written communication abilities
-Ability to work independently
-Solid computer skills
-Ability and willingness to handle a large volume of phone calls at any given time
-Ability and willingness to work overnight or afternoon shift
-Bi-lingual Spanish a plus
