Seeking Freelance Junior Graphic Designer - (NYC) New York City

Are you comfortable at the intersection of fitness and design? Physique 57 is seeking a junior freelance graphic designer with 1-3 years of experience creating and elevating design concepts. The ideal freelancer will be familiar with standard graphics programs and practices and have a passion for fitness.

Designer will translate Physique 57 brand guidelines into compelling, arresting marketing materials including, but not limited to, the following:
o Client Emails
o Promotions graphics (digital and in collateral)
o In-studio signage and collateral that markets the brand
o New client acquisition collateral (i.e. new client postcards)
o Blog and social media posts
o Branded merchandise
o Studio and office supplies
o Graphic support for the brand (i.e. holiday party invites, internal communications, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)

Requirements:
o BA/BS with a design related major
o 1-3 years of work experience
o Possession and expert knowledge of InDesign CS6, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop, plus an overall understanding of PowerPoint and both PC and Mac operating systems; HTML knowledge a plus
o Ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written format
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
o Must be available a minimum of 8 hours per week
o Ability to work on-site one day per week or to meet in person during business hours on an as-needed basis preferred
o Ability to build strong relationships with client and agency team members
