Dekit Magazine offers internship opportunities for the fall, spring, and summer semesters to students who are interested in contributing to a magazine down to advocate for creative expression and social impact. During your time at the magazine, you will gain real-world experience while contributing to a mission to creatively impact lives. Interns are encouraged to generate ideas, experience exhibits at museums and galleries, read widely, and approach problems creatively. If you have specific internship requirements, for the right student we can tweak assignments to suit individual interests and/ or academic pursuits.

Here are the details:

We are a small publication with a mission of making a global impact. In order to make this happen, we seek interns who are team players, reliable, dedicated and ambitious. We prefer that all interns be current college/university students. Internships are unpaid. The majority of our internship allow you to work remotely (at local café or Starbucks, wherever you like). Should you become a Dekit intern you will be required to be your productive self for a minimum of 15 hours per week, for a period of 3 to 4 months minimum.

The goal of the Dekit magazine internship program is to fully immerse interns in a digital ART magazine environment in order to develop talent. As a smaller magazine, we offer the opportunity to learn about all aspects of magazine publishing.
