Epstein is seeking a qualified Project Manager with experience working with multi-disciplined architectural/engineering teams. The Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of all phases of project work from concept/program analysis through construction and project close-out. The Project Manager ensures the consistent application of professional project management processes and techniques and coordinates the efforts of the project team and other resources as required to satisfy project objectives, client requirements, maintain the design intent and the firm's corporate objectives. The Project Manager establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and other non-Epstein entities involved in each project. The ideal candidate will be goal driven, executes with high technical quality and demands precision.

General Responsibilities:
•Gain a full understanding of the project objective, and specific client expectations regarding the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
•Define Epstein's scope of services and deliverables.
•Prepare, negotiate and finalize contracts for architectural/engineering services.
•Establish contracts with consultants and coordinates their efforts with the design team.
•Establish the organization of the project and delineate responsibilities for all project resources including each discipline, the consultants, and the client.
•Develop the project plan and schedule, outlining project activities, task dependencies, and project constraints.
•Manage and control project financials to ensure project profitability.
•Develop, manage and coordinate the flow of information between the client, public agencies, contractors, design team and other involved parties. Assist in facilitating project kick-off meetings, status review meetings, closeout meetings, and other meetings required to communicate requirements and facilitate project reviews, conflict resolution, and decision making. Accurately document all project meetings and correspondence.
•Manage project activities in accordance to the project plan.
•Create, edit and critique technical specifications.
•Establish the QA/QC plan for the project. Assign specific responsibility for quality control to appropriate team members. Promote quality assurance and continual process improvement throughout the project. Perform QA/QC on documents prior to milestone submission.
•Communicate and ensure the team's adherence to the project design budget and schedule.
•Enforce contractual obligations and collateral legal requirements for architectural/engineering services.
•Understand and draft man hour projections and staffing work plans. Create man hour invoicing and invoice reconciliation.
•Understand and respond to peer review and owner comments.
•Supports activity of business development and presentations.

Desired Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience with 4 years in a Project Management role on complex projects and have a keen design sensibility. Experience on commercial and institutional large projects is a must. AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit, Rhino and Sketchup skills are a plus. The candidate will enjoy working in a studio environment and must have fast track project execution experience. Experience with contracts, man power and fee estimation using Excel is a must. Scheduling man power and project work flow and delivery experience (MS Project a plus) is required. Must have a Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
