Seeking Project Engineer w/ Principles and Practice of Engineering exam PE - (NYC) New York City
- Location: New York City, New York, United States
NB+C is seeking a highly motivated, mid-level structural or civil engineer with a PE, to join our nationally recognized engineering firm. This position will involve planning and designing wireless cell sites throughout the New York Metro area. The candidate must have the following combination of education and experience:
• Knowledge in building design and analysis with all type of building materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, light-gage and wood, and/or site grading, storm water management design, and culvert design.
• Perform site walks with client representatives and document existing site conditions.
• Manage drawing production and plan review for wireless carrier equipment upgrades and modifications, as well as new site builds. Any type of previous telecommunication experience is a plus.
Requirements
• B.S. Civil or Structural Engineering required
• Having a PE is a MUST
• 3 to 6 years engineering experience with wireless telecom experience preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2014 required
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
• Industry knowledge and wireless technology trends
• Knowledge of construction practices and principles
