Our innovative green jobs training and placement program, the Win-Win Campaign, combines in-class training, mentoring and fieldwork. Participants gain invaluable real-world, hands-on experience and concrete energy auditing and project management skills that are applicable across a wide spectrum of career opportunities in the emerging Green Economy.
MAIN JOB TYPES WE TRAIN & PLACE PEOPLE IN:
(1) Energy Auditing & Engineering, (2) Project /Program Management & Coordinating, (3) Energy Analysis & Benchmarking, (4) Sustainability Management & Coordinating, (5) Energy Efficiency Sales & Outreach
PROGRAM BENEFITS:
• JOB PLACEMENT assistance upon successful completion of the program (with over 75% placement success rate within 3 months)
• Over 250 hrs of customizable training modules available depending on career track
• Over 100 hrs of customizable project experience
• Average salary range upon placement: $35k - $65k
• Extensive networking opportunities with our various national partners
• Additional subsequent training opportunities (i.e. Certification test-prep for BPI BA & MFBA, LEED, AEE CEA, OSHA)
• Experience using energy audit equipment (including light meters, wattmeters & ballast discriminators)
COURSE OFFERINGS:
Commercial Tier I (CT1)
• Fundamentals of Commercial Energy Auditing
Commercial Tier II (CT2)
• Advanced Commercial Energy Auditing
Residential Tier I (RT1)
• Fundamentals of Residential Energy Auditing + BPI BA CERTIFICATION PREP
Residential Tier II (RT2)
• Advanced Residential Energy Auditing + BPI MFBA CERTIFICATION PREP
DATES & TIME:
Each Tier is 46 hrs of training (in-class + in-field) with the option for additional field projects. There are two types of schedules:
• Daytime Schedule (TIER I Courses Only):
5 days a week for 2 weeks (9-5pm)
• Nights & Weekends Schedule (TIER I & TIER II Courses):
5 weeks of Tuesday & Thursdays (6-9pm), & Saturdays (9-5pm)
NEXT CT1 NIGHTS/WEEKENDS COURSE BEGINS JAN 24th
NEXT RT2 NIGHT/WEEKEND COURSE BEGINS JAN 17th
For interested applicants, we also offer free green career consultation on different types of certifications as well as resume building and networking opportunities.
PARTICIPATION FEE:
Base fee is $1000 per Tier, with a successive 20% discounts for every additional Tier. We can also customize to fit your goals.
Ex: If you take all four Tiers, it would be $1000 for the 1st, $800 for the 2nd, $640 for the 3rd and $512 for the 4th.
