Dev Bootcamp NYC Community Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced community builder to lead DBC::NYC's efforts to establish itself as the preferred Web Developer Bootcamp to the NYC Tech Community and to prospective students.

Primary Responsibilities:
Building strong relationships with the NY tech community including tech companies, investors, educational institutions, co-working spaces, journalists and thought-leaders.
Building brand awareness through community building activities.
Supporting students, staff and alumni to engage with the NY tech community.
Seeking out and communicating NYC event information
Helping to build and administrate a new DBC::NYC alumni program.
Amplifying the DBC content, events and activities through social media.
Identifying and executing initiatives to drive new student demand.

Preferred:
Professional community building experience
Marketing, communications, or PR experience
Established NYC network and relationships in the tech industry
Passionate about technology and education
Leadership experience and highly entrepreneurial
Strong inter-personal skills, High EQ
Cultural and values fit with Dev Bootcamp
Location: New York City.
