We seek EXPERIENCED security guards to work at our client's luxury residential, high-rise property in Brooklyn, NY. Qualified candidates MUST be fluent in English, have 1+ years of security experience, and exceptional presentation/customer service skills. We are looking for someone that takes direction well, has a professional appearance, has no reservations about approaching someone and directing them as needed. Must be able to enforce rules at the site while remaining professional and respectful at all times. Guard will also be interacting with employees, managers and visitors regularly. Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional working environment. Should be flexible with hours available.

POSITIONS AND HOURS:

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 8 hour shifts

COMPENSATION: $8.75 to $10.50 per hour depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activity
* Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
* Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required; submit reports to superior officer
* Investigate security related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; responsible for gathering physical evidence and preserving it for future use; complete report and follow up with management as needed
* Investigate and report fires, evacuations, hazardous situations/other facility related events, and provide back up for client personnel
Ensure that all employees on company property have proper company issued identification
Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
*Perform other related duties as required
* Must be able and willing to work with minimal supervision


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

* NYS Security Guard License
* 8 and 16 hour Certificates
* Social Security card
* NYS issued ID or Drivers License
* GED or High School Diploma
* Ability to validate work history
* Fire Guard License a plus not must
* Clean shaved and very neat
* Punctual to all shifts scheduled and pays close attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Professionalism in appearance, work ethic, and positive attitude are essential
* Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained at all times while in uniform
