Hiring Experienced Retail Store Detective (Long Island, NY)

We are currently hiring for Loss Prevention Detectives to join our winning team in the Long Island area!
As a Loss Prevention Detective, you will be deterring and recovering external theft in a retail setting. The job involves patrolling stores in the role of an ordinary shopper, watching for shoplifters. The detective follows any shopper behaving suspiciously, and follows a universally accepted industry protocol that ultimately leads to apprehension.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 6 months prior experience as an actual Loss Prevention Detective
- Must have a flexible schedule; weekends are mandatory
- Must have an up to date 8-Hour Certificate
- Must have valid NYS ID and Social Security card at time of interview
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must maintain professional appearance
- High School Diploma required
- Working cell phone required
- Basic computer knowledge is required
- Must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Having a vehicle is a plus but is not required
- Bi-lingual is a plus but is not required
