In Need of Top Security Guards (Midtown West, NYC) New York City

Seeking professional and dependable security officers for the following:

Residential and Corporate Sites - Provide security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserve order and act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Monitor entrances and exits, check and verify I.D.'s and supervise assigned loading dock areas. Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management.

Reputable Retail Sites - Visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store. Communicate suspicious activity to Loss Prevention. Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations and other activities as assigned by security manager. Maintain a safe business environment. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Valid and Up to Date NYS Security Guard License
• 8-hour Training Certificate
• 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course Certificate

Requirements:
• Must maintain current active status of license at all times
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
• Neat and professional appearance a "Must".
• Demonstrate punctuality and initiative
• Basic computer skills a plus

Compensation - $10.00 -- $15.00 an hour depending on availability, site and experience

Shifts Available -- Floater, part time with "Potential" of full time.

All candidates must go through an in person application and interview process.
