Seeking ER Licensed Veterinary Technicians - (Brooklyn, NYC)

BluePearl New York in Brooklyn is seeking licensed veterinary technicians to join our growing emergency department. The ideal candidate would have a passion for emergency medicine and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Schedule: TBD

Qualifications:
Must be licensed or license eligible in the State of New York. . A minimum of two -- three years' experience in a veterinary hospital, with emergency preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have excellent communication skills and compassion.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Triage and obtain patient history
• Venipuncture
• Placing intravenous catheters
• Perform CPR
• Perform radiographs
• Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
