Midtown PR Agency-Account Executives/Coordinators (Midtown, NYC) New York City

Resound Marketing is a growing 15-person PR agency with offices in Manhattan and Princeton, NJ. We are currently seeking a PR Account Executive (3-5 years exp.) or Account Coordinator (1-3 years exp.) for our midtown NYC office. Clients have a heavy emphasis on consumer tech, mobile, adtech, edtech, and B2B -- and include public companies as well as emerging brands.
We are looking for a sharp, eager, media-savvy PR pro ready to jump right into pitching, pitching, pitching, and pitching . . .with a splash of strategic planning, client relations, and account admin.

Our midtown workspace (@ 34th & Fifth) is easy to get to from Penn Station, Grand Central Station, and the Herald Square 34th St station B/D/F/N/R/Q, and is equipped with kitchenette, phone booths for pitching, mini-market, monthly brunches, and beer keg on tap 24/7. Regular telecommuting is offered 6 days per month.
compensation: Commensurate with experience
You'll need to be a strong communicator, super-organized, able to multi-task, and a master of securing great press coverage. Your cover letter should show off your pitching skills, and persuade us as to why you're the best fit for the position.
Previous account/pitching experience in a PR agency is strongly preferred, so please share relevant clients and milestone coverage you've secured. Also, send salary history/requirements - compensation will be commensurate with experience.
