Science/Nature Instructor
Deer Mountain Day Camp is looking for a science teacher with a background in earth or environmental science or biology to leads its Nature Center. We are looking for a fun, creative individual who is an avid outdoors person and can teach lessons in:
- Mad Science and Forensics
- Organic Gardening
- Camping and Outdoor Skills
- Animal Education
And, is open to being trained to assist at our Ropes Course and to care for the animals in the camp petting zoo.
Camp Dates:
2015 Camp Dates: Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 21st
Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 4:15 pm
Daily Lunch
About Deer Mountain Day Camp:
Deer Mountain Day Camp is located in Pomona, NY at the base of the Ramapo Mountains. We are a town away from Woodcliff Lake, Mahwah, Montvale and Suffern and 25 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. We serve campers ranging in age from 3 to 15 who come from Rockland, Bergen, Orange and Westchester Counties and New York City.
