Seeking Summer Camp Music/Drama Instructor - (Rockland County, NY)

Music/Rock/Drama Band Instructor
Deer Mountain Day Camp is looking for a fun, creative musician with experience teaching general music to preschool and younger elementary ages students as well as experience teaching guitar, keyboards and drums to older students.
• Our general music program involves teaching songs and rhythm to younger campers in a fun creative way -- using shakers, sticks, maracas, drum pads, tambourines, etc.
• With older campers we offer Glee Club and Rock Band. We teach campers of varying abilities how to play electric and bass guitars, keyboards, percussion, drums and vocals. We acoustic guitars as well.
• Candidates with some background in drama may be involved in leading mini drama workshops.
Camp Dates:
2015 Camp Dates: Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 21st
Monday to Friday: 8:15 am to 4:15 pm for candidates with driving to camp
Daily Lunch & Transportation provided
Extra Salary available for candidates coming from Manhattan to supervise the van ride to camp.
About Deer Mountain:
Deer Mountain Day Camp is located in Pomona, NY. We are a town away from Woodcliff Lake, Mahwah, Montvale and Suffern and 25 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. We serve campers ranging in age from 3 to 15 who come from Rockland, Bergen, Orange, Westchester and Hudson Counties and New York City.
