Customer Service Call Center Needed at DGA Security Systems - (Midtown West, NYC) New York City

DGA Security Systems, Inc., established in 1969, is the New York region's largest privately-held provider of security solutions to businesses and institutions. Our services include intrusion detection, card access, fire detection and video surveillance systems. Our customers are monitored 24 hours-a-day at our award-winning secure communications center located in midtown Manhattan. Many of the area's most recognizable businesses trust DGA for their security system solutions including the foremost jewelers, financial institutions, luxury retailers, hotels and restaurants.
We are currently hiring in our Central Station Monitoring department. Our Central Station Operators work with existing customers, providing the highest level of customer service available in our industry.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor emergency alarm signals in a 24/7 call center environment.
· Communicate with clients to relay information and collect data.
· Update system information and document activity.
· Dispatch police, fire, and medical services as required.
· Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
Requirements:
2+ year experience in a similar role (Customer service/Inbound call center).
Ability to work both a 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM and 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM shift
Experience with database management
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced service environment
Effective communication and organizational skills
Demonstrate excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
High school diploma or GED required
You will begin your career at DGA by going through our extensive training program. This is a paid comprehensive training program that includes classroom, field and side by side learning. The training schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Once your training is complete, a shift will be assigned to you.
