Industrious, a new social office concept for startups and small businesses, is looking for a Manager to lead our forthcoming location in Brooklyn.

Industrious is the next evolution of the modern workplace: luxurious, private glass offices in a beautiful social office community. Every detail has been designed to give our members the privacy they want to stay productive, and the community they need to stay inspired.

We're looking for a self-starter who thinks outside the box. A successful candidate for this role will be smart, organized, outgoing, very friendly, and reliable -- a strong thinker excited by both high-level strategy and operational minutia. You will run a unique complex of offices for startups, design and PR agencies, national technology companies, small businesses and freelancers.

The role will range from maximizing our occupancy through marketing and outstanding customer care, maintaining an extraordinary sense of community, running the day-to-day operations of the space, developing creative marketing strategies, and planning engaging member events.

We believe that no businessperson should consider anything to be above or below them, so if you consider certain tasks too high-level for you -- meeting with CEOs or investors, making urgent strategic decisions that could determine the fate of a business -- then this isn't the right role for you. If you consider certain tasks below you -- like standing in line at the post office to send out materials, ordering office supplies, or trying to calm down a frustrated tenant -- then this isn't the job for you.

Hospitality experience would be a huge plus, but the right mix of smarts and personality would trump that in our eyes.
