CEO serves 4,000 participants a year, giving them the opportunity to support themselves and their families, remain crime-free and to contribute positively to their communities.

Position Overview:

CEO is currently seeking an innovative, entrepreneurial business leader with a systems/process orientation and extensive staff management experience to lead its Crew Works program. The Director is responsible for CEO NYC's Crew Works program, a social enterprise that provides transitional work experience for people returning from incarceration using a crew-based approach to serve public and private sector customers.

The Director of Crew Works will manage a $6 million dollar budget supporting 30-40 crews employing over 200 people each day and will be responsible for ensuring an effective, safe, and compliant operation as well as growing the customer base for the program. He or she will be adept at interacting with high-level executives in high-stakes settings and comfortable in a work environment in which the highest standards of performance outcomes are expected. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader who demonstrates both operational and financial management abilities as well as a proven record of growing a business within a large, complex organization.
