BAR Technical Project Mgr WANTED (New York, NY) New York City

We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager to rapidly develop, manage, and deploy projects as part of a quickly growing department. We are looking for someone with 3+ years experience managing technical projects in a fast-pace interactive environment. A strong applicant will have experience in synchronous training, familiarity with the Adobe suite of products including Adobe Connect Pro, Flash/Flex, and fluency with UI, usability and instructional design. Development experience working with public APIs a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan, execute, and manage projects of various sizes in accordance with priorities of the Live Online initiative.
* Serve as a primary interface between internal technology teams 3rd party technology teams.
* Work with business analysts, PMs, tech leads, and project stakeholders to create and maintain functional and technical specifications, and related project documents / artifacts.
* Create and manage project schedule, dependencies, and critical path though the project lifecycle.
* Work rapidly, adapting project plan and priority in response to the changing needs of the business and the Live Online initiative.
* Encourage decision-making and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
* Track and report project status for stakeholders, including upper management and users.
* Coordinate simultaneous project work of multiple technology teams (30+ people) including in-house and external development, QA, and ITOps.
* Risk / Issue identification, management, and mitigation.
* Conduct post-mortems and document lessons learned.

REQUIREMENTS
* 3+ years experience in project management
* Excellent problem-solving, communication and analysis skills. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to work collaboratively while managing a diverse set of responsibilities.
* Strong customer and solution orientation.
* Attention to detail and follow-through.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with Adobe Connect and synchronous training projects a strong plus
* Experience working against published APIs a plus.
* Experience with Flash/Flex, rapid prototyping, and UI/Usability a plus
