Staff Accountant -- Temp to Perm

This individual will be an integral member of the Finance Team, working closely with the Senior Accountant and Director of Accounting to support the finance function. S/he should be a motivated individual with a demonstrated understanding of accounting concepts who is eager to learn and grow their accounting knowledge.





Primary Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries for amortization, depreciation, accruals and reclasses.

Ensure all reconciliations and supporting documentation are up-to-date (Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Accruals, Other Assets, Cash, etc.)

Assist with the monthly financial close and financial statement preparation

Provide support with annual external audit

Assists with the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules

Provide support with ad hoc projects as needed



Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required

A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting is required.
