Accounting Supervisor
Office is in Irvington, NY

To Secure Financial Operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting and auditing.

Requirements:

BS required, major in accounting preferred
5 years general accounting experience preferably in Not-For-Profit sector
Analytical ability, including cash flow and general ledger
Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to work well under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Must have knowledge of accounting software and systems, Preferably MAS90
Ability to work independently


Duties & Responsibilities:

Enhance financial reporting functions including the preparation of financial statements, forecasting, cash flow, actual vs. budget reports & analyses
Responsible for General Ledger Maintenance and Integrity
Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances, and cash requirements
Manage the daily accounting and reporting functions.
Ensure that books and records are maintained accurately and are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Analyze and develop monthly financial reports
Creating Journal entries and Reporting in MAS90 -- Accounting System
Support annual audit
Attend meetings as required by funding sources
Comply with any other related duties as required
