compensation: $70,000 +/- per year

A small brokerage and property management firm in the West 20's is looking for a Controller with Full Charge Bookkeeping responsibilities. This is a full-time salaried position, reporting directly to the company owner; compensation will be commensurate with industry-related experience and software experience.

The Controller/Bookkeeper will handle all day-to-day activities including but not limited to accounts receivable; accounts payable; payroll processing; journal entries; inter-company accounts; account reconciliations; insurance; HR support; preparing reports and analysis as needed and desired by owner. Related industry experience is a significant plus.

In addition to accounting skills, this position requires great "people skills" in daily interactions with property managers, brokers, and clients. The work environment is very fast-paced.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of controllership and/or full-charge bookkeeping work experience
- 5+ years using QuickBooks
- 3 professional references
- Excellent oral and written communication skills -- Fluency in English
- Solid knowledge of computers and general office software, including advanced Excel

The following property management software experience is also a significant plus: Oscar, Micro Management
