Established retail company located in Manhattan seeks professional for A/P position.

Responsibilities :

.Data entry and posting of invoices for payments
.Record and maintain all payments
.Prepare vendor checks for mailing
.Maintain filing system of accounts payable vendors files and other financial records.
.Act as liaison between departments and vendors.
.Ensure timely and accurate remittance of vendor invoices
.Receive and verify invoices for goods and services
.Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
.Monitor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date

Preferred :
Knowledge of full cycle accounts payable processes
At least 2 years of accounts payable experience
Knowledge of PeachTree is a big plus
