Dog Walking/Pet Sitting Services available on the Upper East Siden.

I provide individual walks, not pack walks so that your dog may have quality time during his or her outing.

I am vigilant about scanning the environment as we walk to make sure that your dog does not ingest anything from the ground.

I am also cognizant of surrounding people, animals and traffic to insure that your dog has a safe yet enjoyable walk. On a personal note, I am an American (Italian & Greek) woman.

I am a non-smoker. I conduct myself in a professional manner, have a pleasant disposition and will adhere to your specific instructions on how to care for your pet.

I have professional experience walking and sitting for various breeds.

I have a daily route on the Upper East Side wherein I walk two mini schnauzers, a tibetan terrier, a a king charles cavalier and several mixed breeds.

I also care for a french bull dog who has weak rear legs and so I take her out in a carriage to handle her business and get some fresh air.

I handle her gently as she has had two surgeries on her spine and as a result is in a fragile state.

I have also accompanied her to her vet, Dr. Doloroso, who said that my being able to calm and soothe the dog during her exam and injections made the experience less traumatizing for the dog because when we arrived at her office the dog was trembling but once I held her reassuringly and started singing softly to her she calmed down.

It was such an incredibly wonderful feeling to be able to help an animal who was in such distress as she was :) I also sit for her in her apt. for up to 5 days (and overnights) at a time when her owner travels.

I also walk a pit bull who is a rescue, in addition to letting 3 other pit bulls, 2 german shepherds, a mut and a maltese out of their crates to handle their business and let them get some fresh air and stretch their legs. I provide this service to a police officer who works with a rescue shelter.

I frequently walk/sit for the Yorkshire Terrier on an as-needed basis.

I stay with him in his apartment on the Upper West Side, during weekends when his owner needs to go out of town.

I walk him, feed him, give him lots of love and snuggle with him while we sleep at night. Additionally, I have a new client on the Upper East Side whose Pitbull rescue I have begun walking in Carl Schurz & Central Parks.

I shall also be dog sitting for her on an as-needed basis when her owner travels for business. Since my co-op has a no pet policy, I sit for animals in their own homes.

I also feel that animals fare better when they are cared for in their own home rather than being boarded elsewhere.

They are more comfortable in their own home. I am available for individual or several consecutive weekday or weekend overnights.
