If you enjoy sailing and would like to improve your sailing skills and tactics, please join us on Wednesday April 1 from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Sheepshead Bay Yacht Club (3076 Emmons Avenue, Brooklyn, NY)This free seminar will be give by Dave Coughlin of UK Sailmakers.
Dave will present questions using UK Sailmakers animated rules quiz program. After showing situations he utilizes the Socratic method to get the room involved and thinking. Come to learn new racing tactics or just to brush up if your rusty. Dave will also educate you on sail maintainence and new products. Coffee and cookies will be served and the cash bar is open.

Dave served as the director of waterfront activities and head varsity & offshore sailing coach at SUNY Maritme College at Fort Schuyler from 1990-2000. Coughlin's sailing experience includes numerous Newport to Bermuda races,several Block Island, Solomon Island and Key West Race week.
