My name is Tom, I graduated from Baruch College in 1993. My major was Actuarial Science which deals with Mathematics and Statistics.

I scored an A in both LCE (Lower Certificate Examination) and MCE (Middle Certificate Examination) in Malaysia. When I was pursuing Bachelor of Arts degree at Baruch College, CUNY, I continued to work intensely on Mathematics by tutoring math at the math labs of Baruch College and BMCC (Borough of Manhattan Community College)

When I graduated, I worked as a Math and Statistics Lecturer at Informatic College. Then, I worked on my own by running Engcom Academy in Malaysia in which math and English courses were offered.

Upon coming back to New York, I still never changed my passion on teaching math. All these years I have been traveling within New York City doing one-on-one tutoring. I also do classroom teaching for BBS Academy in Bayside for years.

With this 18-year-experience of teaching Math, I have possessed the ability of using different approaches and techniques to make a student understand mathematical concepts and theories.

The rates are subjective to various factors such as the topics, traveling distance, no of hours scheduled, etc. However, it is half of the rate for the first lesson.
