Hi there! I am a guitar teacher based in New York w/ a strong passion for music and teaching.

I have about 10 years experience teaching beginners, intermediate, as well as advanced students. I teach many different styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Folk, and much more.

Beyond my regular teaching methods and style, my lessons are always focused on what the student wants to learn. As simple as this might sound, I feel it is a key part to musical growth and continual inspiration. In a nutshell, I would consider myself a very patient, down-to-earth, and fun type of teacher with a good sense of humor.

A little background about me...I've been teaching now for about 10 years, playing for about 16 years. I've been living here in the city a little over 5 years now. I've been fortunate to have opened and shared the stage w/ different artists including Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Adams, Arturo Sandoval, Chick Corea, John Medeski.

I was a recently featured host and teacher for the Guitar World Magazine app "Lick of the day". I also have a BA in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

I am happy to travel to the comfort of your own home in Manhattan, or you are welcome to come to my home studio. My rates are fair and affordable.
