Position Summary: Prominent business-to-business content publisher seeks strong candidate for full-time, entry-level position. As an Assistant Content Manager and member of our New York Content team, you will learn how to update existing information, verify new data, and continuously improve LDI's content in preparation for its use in both print and electronic products. Content managers make sure that LDI has the highest quality data on the market by updating it frequently on a continuous basis, verifying content with contacts at listed organizations, using technology to automatically review organizational websites, receiving automated feeds of news, press releases, and government filings, and monitoring other primary and secondary web and print news sources. Each content manager is encouraged to become an expert in the content set that he or she manages. Content managers are also responsible for the constant improvement of their content set, by adding contacts, adding biographical data, adding organizations, and responding to customer or sales requests for additional research, as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. College Degree (recent grads).
2. Good awareness of current events.
3. "Coachability"--must be receptive to training and teaching.
4. Must have excellent listening and retention skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Analytical skills--must possess the ability to gather, research and analyze information.
7. Must be a multi-tasker who is comfortable working independently or within a team atmosphere.
8. Must be Internet-savvy and have good computer skills.
9. Be highly detail oriented, self-motivated, organized and work well under pressure.
10. Must be comfortable with technology and learning how to use a database.

Benefits: $32,000 starting yearly salary + comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, profit sharing and 401k plan) + participation in company-sponsored incentive program for new editorial hires.
