Photography Magazine Looking for Editorial Interns (Brooklyn, NYC)

Resource Magazine is a quarterly photo, video and lifestyle publication based in DUMBO, Brooklyn. We're looking for editorial interns to join our team for a three month internship program. The program lasts for three months so you can experience the full span of production for an issue of the magazine. You're required to work 2-3 days a week (we know students will be busy) and priority will be given to currently enrolled college students. All interns must have their own laptop.

Responsibilities for editorial interns include:

- Researching stories, transcribing interviews, writing press releases and pitching story ideas.
- Learning our web and print style guides and SEO standards.
- Helping out at events and assisting in the studio during shoots.
- Regularly producing written online content with opportunities to write stories for the upcoming print issue.
- Requirements: Strong knowledge of writing/grammar and a stylish voice. Competence in AP Style, WordPress and an eccentric personality is a plus.

- Interns are expected to be enthusiastic and self-motivated.

- You will be working closely with Resource's top editorial staff. This is a very hands-on position and will be treated as a staff writer and expected to act like one.
