The CNN of the Mortgage Business is Seeking Emerging Videographers (Wantagh, Long Island, NY) Wantagh

Videographer / Editor overview:
You will working directly with the Mortgage News Network's Operations Manager and high level executives at the largest mortgage banks in the country. You will be capitalizing on your technical knowhow and talent to join on the ride to take Mortgage News Network to the next level in business video networks.

In this role you will be given assignments as our needs require to plan, shoot and edit video with your equipment and or our equipment at a variety of locations
+ Our studio in Wantagh, Long Island
+ One on one remote video feeds
+ On location corporate shoots
+ Trade shows and conventions
+ Professional seminars

Once the video is shot, you will post-process/edit raw video footage, create motion graphics, and distribute this media to our online broadcast channels.

This is a part-time gig perfect for freelance experienced videographer/editor looking work in a variety of different formats.

We are willing to consider individuals that have earned their experience by either employment, education (whether presently in college or past college education) and or via knowledge gained through videography / editing as a hobby.

Ongoing assignments will be scheduled with the individual selected and flexibility to accommodate ones schedule should be possible.

Position Requirements:
+ Must be able to shoot steady-cam
+ Great knowledge of how to use lighting (studio and natural)
+ Strong creative design
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to travel
+ Strong time-management skills; ability to effectively process workflow to meet deadlines
+ Own pro, or semi-pro video equipment (we own some video equipment that can be used and or supplement your equipment) and computer for post-processing (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe CS)

Salary will be commensurate with education and your experience.
