Fall Communications Intern at Eyewear Startup EPONYM - (Chelsea, NYC) New York City

WE help brands create and distribute their own eyewear. We launched Classic Specs in 2010, Steven Alan Optical in 2013, and a sunwear line for Anthropologie in 2015. Quickly expanding as an eyewear platform for the fashion world, eponym is poised to debut new lines for exciting brands in the coming months. Born in Brooklyn, we've just opened a new office in Manhattan's Flower District.

YOU strike up conversations with strangers at the DMV, and you're always coming up with wacky ideas. Immersing yourself in the daily business of a startup - and getting to actually contribute to our vision - sounds exciting to you.

The INTERNSHIP:
Our Customer Experience Team creates happiness. We field all sorts of customer questions, we read and submit prescriptions, and we make sure potential customers can find the information they seek. We love our customers, and they love us back. Customer raves include: "I've been a diehard customer for years now. Let's grow old together, lol!" and "You guys are lil' angels."

We're looking for a Communications Intern to turbo-charge our Youtube channel and be a pinch-hitter for the team.

*Build up the content of our Classic Specs Youtube channel
*Learn the aspects of a direct-to-consumer startup business
*Immerse yourself in eyewear expertise
*Contribute to customer outreach initiatives

This is the perfect internship for you if you're interested in marketing, business, fashion, or social media. Surrounded by product designers, engineers, and marketers alike, you'll be exposed to the many facets of a quickly growing business.

You'll NEED:
*A solid academic record
*To be a great communicator
*Basic skills in Youtube or editing film (we use imovie right now) or eagerness to learn
*Positivity & energy
*A high tolerance for bad puns
