Manager - Collaborative Tech Needed @ The New School - (Union Square, NYC) New York City

The New School is seeking as Manager in the department for Information Technology.

Responsibilities:
• Overseeing Collaborative Operations and assisting Director with strategic planning, new technologies and implementation of collaborative technologies
• Develop, implement and assess Service Level Agreements (SLA's) to ensure that they are met and exceeded. Use SLA's to measure and improve the quality of service and support
• Manage, schedule, train and coach technical support staff. Set educational objectives
• Hire, manage, schedule and train full-time staffers
Design, deliver and oversee adequate training program for service desk staff. Set training and certification objectives
• Provides/coordinates technical support/assistance to faculty and students
• Develop, implementation and maintenance of public facing digital signage
• Maintain supply and AV equipment inventories
• Faculty and student liaison for Learning Spaces support
• Development and maintenance of all lobby boards
• Update computer lab documentation
• Maintain and report statistics and metrics

Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of audio visual control systems, hardware and software

• Strong working knowledge of Extron and Crestron control systems, Avid Audio and Video Editing systems
• Knowledge of Macintosh and Windows environment in a networked environment
• Three years professional experience Managing in a technical support environment.
• High level of organization and efficiency

• Ability to coordinate, delegate and supervise projects with minimal supervision

• Available to work evening and weekend hours

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be able to lift and carry 35 pounds on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of ITIL workflow
• Knowledge on using statistical software and presentation of results using.
• Relevant industry certifications including InfoComm CTS, Crestron, CompTIA A+ or Apple ACMT
