URS has an I&C Maintenance Technician position available in Pearl River, NY!



Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School graduate or demonstrated equivalent.
2. Five years experience in electronics, pneumatics and hydraulic instrumentation and process controls associated with building management and building and fire monitoring systems, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Applicable licensing may be required.
4. Experience with digital controls systems, fire systems, PLCs, building automation systems, etc.
5. Knowledge and/or training in building automation controls.
6. Qualified applicants offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
7. Qualified applicants offered a position must be able to obtain site specific security access including all applicable background checks.
8. Qualified applicants must submit to and pass a Tuberculosis test prior to employment, or be medically cleared for Tuberculosis by a medical professional, and be able to maintain annual negative results.
9. Qualified applicants must pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for each type of respirator needed for the position or for an approved alternate respirator that provides equal or better protection from identified hazards.

The I&C Technician is responsible for providing advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventative maintenance on the industrial HVAC, Building Automation System (BAS), Supervisory Data Acquisition and Control System (SCADA), fire safety system, Laboratory equipment, PLC,s and other controls for commercial and industrial equipment. Will also respond and provide service and feedback to the customer on monitoring controls issues for conditioned spaces.

Some travel may be required. Applicable licensing may be required.
