Job Description
The ideal candidate has an interest in ethical marketing and a love for social media. This person will be responsible for collaborating with the Integrated Marketing Associate and CMO to increase social media engagement and website traffic in addition to assisting with the weekly upkeep of our showroom.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining social media channels: creating engaging content, posting, tracking analytics, responding
to followers
- Coordinating features for blog
- Researching new ethical brands
- Updating media list and assisting with media pitches
- Assisting with showroom duties: visual merchandising, sample inventories and returns,
showroom appointment calendar
- Working with marketing team to launch contests and promotions
- Attending press and trade events as well as consumer pop-ups
Qualifications
- Recently graduated or attending a 4 year college
- Available 2 days per week
- Understanding of social media channels: twitter, facebook, tumblr, instagram, pinterest
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel
- Passionate and ambitious
- Fast learner with a high attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic
College credit available
